Nordmilch nominated our company as the best
supplier of 2004 and, in doing so, as the best strategic partner. A total of 50
suppliers were evaluated in terms of product quality and service performance.
The highest mark of 99 out of a possible 100 was awarded to SIG Combibloc.
Cooperation between SIG Combibloc and NORDMILCH
has endured for no less than 26 years. As a "supplier of strong
brands", Nordmilch has a policy of firmly establishing its names. In
Europe, the umbrella brand MILRAM is being expanded through innovations.
Internationally, profiling in export markets is focused on the OLDENBURGER
brand.

The first three combibloc filling machines were
installed in 1979 at the Schwanewede facility. Initially, they were used to fill
UHT milk into the combiblocStandard and combiblocCompact formats. Nowadays,
NORDMILCH employs aseptic cartons from SIG Combibloc to meet its needs, not only
for the MILRAM and OLDENBURGER brands, but also for other trade names.
Outstanding machine and package flexibility
When selecting the best supplier, criteria such
as product quality, reliability, quality management and flexibility are applied.
Also carefully considered is the entire spectrum of customer support, service
performance and cooperation during joint optimisation projects. Hero Schulte,
