Peter Spøer appointed Executive Vice-President
of Birch & Krogboe A/S
Following the acquisition of Danbrew, Birch & Krogboe has now decided to
extend the management board by appointing Peter Spøer as Executive
Vice-President (Viceadministrerende Direktør in Danish). Peter Spøer will join
the management board of Birch & Krogboe on 1 January 2006 since Danbrew
remains an independent company for the remainder of 2005.

Peter Spøer will assume responsibility of
projects and the operational departments in Danbrew as well as Birch &
Krogboe and will act as substitute for Ingelise Bogason, CEO of Birch &
Krogboe. Ingelise Bogason will oversee sales, marketing and financial functions
as well as overall management responsibility.
Peter Spøer has an MSc in Engineering and has
been Managing Director of Danbrew since 1 March 2004. Prior to this, he held a
number of management positions in international companies.
Carlsberg sold the Danbrew operation to Birch
& Krogboe in June and at the same time, Carlsberg entered into a long-term
agreement on the purchase of brewery-related services from Birch &
Krogboe/Danbrew. The formal ownership of the company will be transferred from
Carlsberg to Birch & Krogboe on 1 October, but employees and assets will not
be transferred until 1 January 2006.
