Accessories and Conversions for SMI Packaging Machines - RD

SMI has developed special rotodividers of the RD type that can be adjusted to SMI cardboard sleeve multipackers. The rotodividers are designed to turn and translate packs formed by a SMI cardboard sleeve multipacker into multiple lanes.

Presently, two RD types can be delivered:

RD-A, which is an automatic electronic rotodivider. It enables to turn and translate or distribute packs in order to achieve simple and complex patterns at the end of the packaging process.

RD-S, which is the semiautomatic brother of the RD-A. This semiautomatic mechanical rotodivider can do the same as the automated version for simple patterns, but is not recommendable when it comes to more complex or complicated pack patterns.

Both models can be operated at an machine inlet top speed of up to 300 packs per minute.
