Packaging Machine Industry: Procomac, one of the most recognized suppliers and machine manufacturers to the filling and packaging industry has announced sales and projects to France Champignons and Mushrooms, Montgomery Natural Spring Water and William Grant Distillers in Scotland.
William Grant & Sons Distillers Limited - Scotland
William Grant & Sons Distillers Ltd. have recently placed an order with Procomac Ltd. in order to manufacture and supply a complete rinsing-filling-capping monobloc unit for their bottling line No. 7.
The monobloc machine consists of a Rotostar 1R.20.174.243 bottle rinsing machine, a Fillstar Oeno SFM 36.6.188 bottle filling machine and an Arol Euro Va 8T Capping machine. The machines are going to be built in the Procomac RN filling machine production facility in Italy.
The versatile machine will rinse, fill and cap the famous "William Grant's whisky into various glass bottle sizes, such as 1.5 / 1.75 / 2.3 and large 4.5 litre round and triangular glass bottles. The 1.75 litre package size also comes with an shaped PET plastic bottle version, which is quite a novum for filling of William Grant Whisky.
Procomac is a well established company and supplier of numerous filling and packaging machines and accessories dedicated for the beverage and food industry. They have recently done a remarkable investment into their productrion facility at Rimini, Italy in order to be able to supply high quality filling machines to the wine and spirits industry.

Campsie Mineral Water - Scotland
Campsie Mineral Water, a Scottish water bottler company based in Lennoxtown chooses Procomac technology for the supply of a complete filling line for still and sparkling water.
The filling bloc is composed of a Gripstar ACE 48.128.141, a counterpressure filler Fillstar PET 2 ADV 96.12.141 and an Arol 12T capper.
The line will treat different Pet bottle formats: 0.33, 0.5, 0.75, 1.5 and 2 lt. For a production speed in excess of 16.000 bph.
The order, entirely managed by Procomac's UK company, Procomac Ltd, renews the trust in Procomac water filling technology.
Montgomery Natural Spring Water - UK
Montgomery Natural Spring Water, a rapidly expanding British bottling company, have now entrusted Procomac to supply them with a new bottling line for still and carbonated water. This will be the fourth line that they have purchased during the last 4 years.
The new filling bloc is composed of a Procomac Gripstar Ace rinser model 1R 50.100.113, a Procomac advanced counterpressure filler Fillstar ADV 80.10.113 and a Zalkin 10 head capper to apply standard and sports caps.
The new line will be capable of handling several different formats comprising 2.0ltr, 500ml and 330ml, thanks to the filler's level adjustment system; the production capability is 14,000 bph on 2.0 l. and 20,000 bph for the two smaller containers.
Empty PET bottles, both round petaloid and squond, are fed to the line from a Procomac Resolvis depalletiser and to the filler via. Procomac Convair 2000 air conveyor.
Full packs comprising a large range of formats and layer patterns are handled by a Procomac Opera 1000 palletiser which loads packs onto 1000 x 1200 wooden pallets.
France Champignons and Mushrooms - France
France Champignons, a French company which produces mushrooms (Champignons de Paris), chooses Levati Food Tech technology for the filling of its product in 5 kg pouches. The mushrooms are cut into slices and later filled in the pouches.
The order, signed at the end of the year and delivered at the end of march of the following year, is composed of a Bagfill L2B1 linear pouch filler with two filling heads. The machine is fitted with a vacuum pump supplied by Travaini and it is prearranged for one more pump.
The Bagfill technology of Levati Food Tech keeps convincing a big number of food companies, both in Italy and abroad.
